Generally, people who hunt for meat to feed their families take what they need from nature, use the whole animal where possible and upkeep the ecosystem that ensures good living conditions to keep an abundance of prey animals. Good farmers in well regulated countries give animals as good a life as they can to ensure a healthy meat for consumption after slaughter.
