Elder Neil L. Andersen dedicated the Bacolod Philippines Temple on Sunday, marking the country’s sixth operational temple.
This event is the third temple dedication in the Philippines this year, highlighting the church’s accelerating expansion in Southeast Asia. Church leaders emphasized that these buildings bring spiritual power to the region and offer members access to sacred eternal ordinances. Local Latter-day Saints traveled from across the Negros Island region to witness the ceremony, which was broadcast to nearby meetinghouses.
More temples are currently planned or under construction as the church continues to grow its presence across the archipelago.
