Patriots for Europe

The European Union Patriots for Europe is not a single political party, but rather a political alliance or grouping within the European Parliament. It was formed in 2024 by several right-wing and nationalist parties from different EU member states, most notably including Hungary's Fidesz party led by Viktor Orbán, Austria's Freedom Party (FPÖ), and the Czech ANO party led by Andrej Babiš. While the alliance is critical of what it sees as overreach by Brussels, it does not necessarily call for leaving the EU, but rather for reforming it to respect the autonomy and traditions of its member states.
