I know a case of a guy from Canada on youtube whose wife had a stroke. He didn't need to set up a go fund me to cover his wife's care. It was covered by general taxation. He didn't ask his viewers for financial help. Just that they keep watching all his videos to keep his channel alive while he concentrated on caring for his wife. Only a millionaire could do something like that in a country where healthcare is privatised for profit.
